Why Choose SwimSCAAPE?

At SwimSCAAPE, we create a fun and supportive environment where the pool becomes a dynamic space for learning, movement, and connection. Our swim lessons combine sensory input, skill development, and individualized instruction to make swimming safe, enjoyable, and confidence-building for every child.

Our instructors are trained in sensory processing, movement integration, and behavioral techniques, allowing us to meet the needs of both children with special needs and neurotypical learners. Every swimmer, whether just starting out or advancing their technique, receives personalized guidance to help them succeed.

From basic water safety to stroke development, SwimSCAAPE is where children of all abilities grow, thrive, and discover the joy of swimming.

Our mission is to give swimmers of all abilities,
including those with physical and/or cognitive challenges,
the support, confidence and skills necessary to safely experience
the joy and healthful benefits of swimming.

What Our Clients Are Saying

“…Swimming is important for Nicholas. He likes the swimming class, he likes the water, it helps with his sensory issues; it’s another step that he has jumped! He’s now so happy to swim and attend the class. I have seen a lot of progress.” - Claudia

“I am very happy with the work you and your team are doing with my son as you are teaching him to swim and to be safe.  Thank you very much for all your help!”  - Karina

“I noticed that Azalea has improved in her level of calmness, her behavior has become more organized with her instructor. Also I can see improvement in her basic Swim skills in the pool and I think she will continue to improve.” - Marisela

“…before we met you, we tried [other’s] swimming classes and didn't work for Arthur as he needs a 1 on 1 class and, most important , he needs someone who understand how autism works. We are very happy with his progress as he came from sinking in the water to diving and swimming. His progress is helping him with his sensory issues and the swimming helps him to calm down and regulate himself.” - Parents of Arthur S

“Anthony has grown a lot after joining the program. I've noticed an improvement in his sense of confidence and independence as a result of overcoming his fears and learning skills in the water. He really looks forward to his swim session, it's one of the highlights of his week.” - Carlos

“…[due to her] participation in the program, I notice that Betsy is having more confidence. Now that she started the program, she’s doing more activities, and overall it’s helping her grow. She’s gotten over her fear of the water, and other fears as well so I think overcoming this challenge has helped her with getting over fears in general. I also noticed she has gotten new motor skills going in the water, which is something we wanted for her. This program is really great for children that have autism or any other type of disability.” - Luis

“Thank you for everything. Rosa is an AMAZING instructor and Isaac has learned so much in a short period of time. Very thankful we found the perfect fit for my son.” – Norma

“My son was really fearful of the water when we first started. Didn’t want to go underwater, talking about he’s afraid of drowning, etc. He’s actually improved a whole lot… working with different practitioners actually works well with him. He still makes comments like he’s afraid of the water, but he still does his swim skills, including swimming the entire length of the pool, through the deep end. Sometimes he doesn’t even want to get out! And sometimes he will actually ask to do things he was previously afraid to do. He’s made a lot of progress.” - Annika
